Rusty Hinge, Tobacco Barn

Tobacco in Maryland was air cured in large wood tobacco barns. The siding on the barn was hinged, so it could be opened to allow air to circulated to cure (dry) the tobacco, which was hung in the barn on tobacco sticks.
